The iconic Fontana lamp was designed in 1954 by Max Ingrand, a big name in the Art Deco movement. It was in this same year that the famous French designer became artistic director of FontanaArte. For nearly a decade, he created lamps that went on to become design classics and historical FontanaArte creations. The Fontana lamp is of course a great example. Here, the Fontana table lamp has made a comeback in an LED version. Sharing the same archetypal silhouette of the traditional table lamp, Fontana is made entirely of blown glass (only the base beneath its body is in painted metal).
