This minimalist, sophisticated, technical floor lamp introduces the most advanced research in optics and dimming control into the home environment. The Type floor/reading lamp is designed for precise, functional lighting thanks to its fluid interaction with the user. The adjustable spotlight is attached to the base using an innovative magnetic joint: this rotating magnet allows movement of the spotlight in all directions at 360°. With a simple movement of the hand, you can direct the light, vary the intensity of the lighting as well as choose the size of the light beam (narrow and concentrated for reading, wider for mood lighting). All these functions converge where the hand naturally comes to rest to direct the spotlight. Adjustments are made by turning the articulated cylinders that make up the spotlight.
