The first lighting piece created by Kartell, FL/Y is a pendant light with back-to-basic lines. The particular transparency of the material and the vibrancy of the colours give it a look of a soap bubble with colourful reflections of light. The calotte isn’t perfectly semi-spherical: The secant surface passes over the diameter to catch as much light as possible. Individually or combined in a delicate chromatic variation, these cheery and delightful pendant lights play with light reflections. Please note: The lampshade is covered with a transparent plastic film to protect it. Upon delivery, this film can create the impression of a scratched surface, whereas it’s actually (excluding any accidents) only the film surface that has been scratched. Make sure to remove it as the final step of installation.
