Recycled, recyclable cork (Portuguese origin) from pre-consumer waste (industrial waste) – Natural, durable material, flame-retardant, water-resistant, rot-proof and lightweight. Ethimo and French designer Patrick Norguet give shape to new ecological, versatile furnishing elements. The Cross coffee table collection combines different FSC-certified materials borrowed from the natural environment: cork and teak. Cork is a light, durable, fire-retardant, water-resistant, rot-proof natural material. The cork has undergone a 100% ecological treatment which gives it its dark colour, texture and durability. This super-material, Black Cork, comes from particularly responsible production. The cork granules come only from the pruning of trees and are agglomerated using a 100% natural technology, by injecting water vapour. This production is ecological, waste-free, and 95% self-sufficient in energy. The Cross collection was born from the perfect balance between form and function, an aspect that allows it to fit into any context, whether outdoors or indoors, with harmony and creativity. Available in three different sizes, Cross coffee tables describe a new way of living outdoors.
