This remarkable Sciangai coat rack was created by the famous trio of DePas, D’Urbino & Lomazzi in 1979, in the same year that they received the Compasso d’Oro. This ingenious and highly elegant piece combines functionality with aesthetics. Through their work on originality, the designers sought to raise a humble object, like a coat rack, to the same level as furnishing pieces. Sciangai is a veritable decorative element.
