Composed of simple geometric shapes, his lights are imbued with a strong sculptural dimension. Witness his incredible Coordinates collection: an assembly of horizontal and vertical luminous rods. A minimal aesthetic that is no less spectacular. Reduced to their purest essence, these abstract light forms do not lack physical, sensual or enigmatic presence. The tinted aluminium structure houses a flexible LED strip protected by an opaline silicone diffuser. For Michael Anastassiades, it goes without saying that a “lamp that is only lit 20% of the time must be particularly beautiful when turned off, interacting by its presence alone with the environment’’. This is how he forged his style from simple signs and volumes (a sphere, a line, a triangle…).
