A combination of tradition and modernism, is the challenge that the designer Sebastian Herkner took up by creating the Filigrana ceiling light collection. Each of them is made by hand via a Murano technique dating back to the 16th century. This complex process consists of coiling strips of coloured laminated glass around already melted glass before being blown. The result is staggering: the Veneitian glass has stripes imitating those that are found on candy canes taking us back to our childhood… This technique that is both decorative and organic is applied to simple shapes with curved and soft lines. As Filigrana is hand made, each pendant benefits from individual attention and care and therefore showcases a unique design. The ceiling lights are available in four different shapes, all equally as elegant, and have black, red or white stripes. Hanging in a lounge, an entrance hall or a bedroom, Filigrana will add a pretty modern and fun touch.
