A beautiful blend of exoticism and modernity, a warm minimalism for this superb collection of rattan lighting. The Dou collection is the result of meticulous artisanal work: the rattan stems are woven by hand, so each example is unique. The Dou collection presents a lovely contrast between contemporary geometric shapes and the organic, textured qualities of the natural material. The light is soft and comfortable. Rattan plays with lightness, transparency, shadow and light as vegetation does in nature. The openwork structure filters the light like foliage on a tree. The resulting lighting is warm and intimate. This is a hand-woven item, so small variations in colour and shape may occur.
