Refined geometry… Of rare elegance, the Quadro table lamp was designed by French architect and interior designer Jacques Adnet (1901-1981) in 1929. Deeply rooted in the Art Deco movement that began in Paris in the 1920s, Jacques Adnet is known for his avant-garde design. Incredibly sculptural, the Quadro lamp reflects the elegance, minimalism and sober, refined style of the rationalist currents of the 30s. It was inspired by futurism, geometric abstraction and the Modern Movement. The perfect modernist geometry combines harmoniously with the refinement of precious materials. It comes in two versions: Palladium or fine gold finish (the fine gold finish is a limited edition). The Quadro lamp was first produced by LUMEN CENTER in the 1970s on the decision of the artistic director at the time, Gilles Derain, one of the first admirers and connoisseurs of the French modernist movements. Subsequently, this iconic light would enter the LUMEN CENTER catalogue in 2014, remaining there uninterrupted until today. This light is part of the LC collection by Lumen Center: reissues of iconic lamps from the 1920s to the 1980s, created by famous personalities of international design.
