Junto a la Iglesia Parroquial de San Marcos, el parque del Drago es la principal atracción de Icod de Los Vinos. El famoso Drago Milenario (Aunque su edad se cifra actualmente en unos 800 años) es uno de los símbolos naturales, culturales e históricos más importantes de Canarias. El Drago de Icod (Dracaena Draco Canariensis), considerado como el más antiguo del archipiélago, mide más de 16 metros de altura y posee una base de unos 20 metros de circunferencia
En el entorno del árbol se ha creado un jardín de endemismos, especialmente didáctico e ilustrativo para el visitante, con pequeños Dragos, cardones, tabaibas, etc.
En la plaza de la Iglesia cercana, existen otros ejemplares botánicos interesantes.
