The Heracleum pendant is made up of branches of flexible wire at the end of which are translucent, polycarbonate lenses, resembling leaves, containing LED light sources. The metal wires, which resemble branches, are arranged asymmetrically in an intuitive, creative pattern. This complex network of branches resembles a living material in the process of regenerating. The thin, malleable metal wires can be manually remodelled into your desired shape. This perfectly balanced, versatile structure is incredibly elegant. The metal wires act as conductors (very low voltage electric current), powering the LED light sources.
