The Orbit lamp was designed by Kevin Gray in 1981. This large light sculpture is brought to life by graceful movements, a bit like a mobile. The long, horizontal arm can rotate through 360°. The Orbit lamp can be used to direct light precisely. Orbit showcases a collection of simple geometric forms: line, sphere and half-sphere. Its silhouette recalls the trajectory described in space by the movement of a planet around the sun and its presence invites interaction with light in an emotional relationship. This light is part of the LC collection by Lumen Center: reissues of iconic lamps from the 1920s to the 1980s, created by famous personalities of international design.
