Reissued by Nemo, the Parliament floor lamp was designed in 1963 by Le Corbusier for the European Parliament in Chandigarh, India. Its shape and great functionality are inspired by the Marseille wall light that Le Corbusier created in 1954 to equip his famous “Cité Radieuse”. A symbol of 1950s modernism, the Parliament floor lamp is inspired by the industrial lighting of the time. The lampshade consists of two symmetrical open cones, providing two types of lighting (direct and indirect). The mobile lampshade lets you direct the light precisely where you want it.
