“Multi-faceted lamp … Designed by the French studio NOCC, the Plus pendant has a polymorphous silhouette half-way between a cross and a circle: a captivating sculptural shape. It consists of two interlocking metal discs that form a cross. Simple, clean and graphic, the Plus pendant is like a three-dimensional sign suspended in the air. The horizontal disc has two translucent PMMA faces. The light is both direct and indirect, pointed towards the floor and ceiling. This pendant teases our perception of space and offers a fun play on perspective. Depending on the observer’s point of view, the shape changes: from the front, it has a cross shape while the profile is a circle. The designers from Studio Nocc say about the Plus pendant: “We designed the PLUS shape as an object that can be seen in two ways: either as a circle or as a cross, which gives it a dynamic aspect in space.”
