A real quirky light sculpture, the Rio lamp decorates your interior with its fun and offbeat presence. Made from white resin, this dog showcases a troubling realism. The good doggy is holding a golden branch of an antique chandelier in its mouth, with severed cables as though he had just pulled it off to bring it to you! By creating this collection, designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba is exploring themes like the relationship between man and nature, art and design, philosophy and the way things are… These sculptural objects, at the boundary between art and design, create a dreamlike, poetic, fantastical world. This dog takes over our interiors as though to remind us of the unbreakable link that exists between man and nature.
