To design Pao, Naoto Fukasawa was inspired by Mongolian yurts which cast a spellbinding light at night when illuminated from within. The result of exceptional craftsmanship, this pendant is made entirely of hand-blown opaline glass. The highly glossy finish reflects the light. Inside the lampshade, a matt opaline glass diffuser completely conceals the integrated LED light source for perfect aesthetics and optimal lighting. The Pao pendant provides optimal lighting: homogeneous and non-dazzling. The love that designer Naoto Fukasawa has for simple, beautiful things, for all that\u2019s universal and emanates from everyday life, is evident in this project.
