Handcrafted in Italy, the Gem pendant is the result of superb glasswork. This completely closed sphere is blown by hand inside a mould. The glass is then frosted manually and treated with acid to obtain a superb frosted effect. This pure, graphic sphere is entirely decorated with incisions that form irregular relief patterns. The entire surface of the diffuser is punctuated by intersecting lines inspired by the propagation of a sound wave on the surface of a liquid. Highly decorative, these streaks also allow the light intensity to be filtered and modulated. The light filtered through the folds and different thicknesses of the glass produces a superb chiaroscuro effect. The lighting is vibrant, warm and subdued. The cross-shaped base is in golden aluminium.
