The fruit of this work is the Plywood Group chairs, which have become classics that have kept all their relevance to this day. Within the Plywood Group, they have combined the seats and backs with different bases. Thanks to the organic shape of the plywood shells and the slightly flexible backrests, these light, compact chairs are very comfortable – even the versions without padding. The seat and back of the chairs are connected to the base by flexible rubber connectors that adapt to the position of the body. Due to the slim organic shapes of its seat and back shells, the Plywood Group chair quickly acquired the nickname the “potato chip chair”.
