A magnificent light sculpture, the Ellisse pendant has a simple, pure and very graphical shape. The oval ring creates a frame in the air, delimiting an empty space and filling it with light. This ultra-minimalist open extruded aluminium structure is like a trace in space, a pencil line drawn in the air, a three-dimensional sign. Ellipse highlights the essential: namely, light, which becomes the central player in the aesthetics of the lamp. The void fills with a luminous substance that radiates all around, without revealing the light source. The poetry of this emptiness inevitably makes us think of its opposite: the materiality of the world. The ring has an LED strip which runs along the whole circumference of the ring. The LED strip is located behind an opaline polycarbonate diffuser. The Ellisse Major pendant provides indirect lighting (directed upwards).
