The Petites Lentilles pendant expresses a refined essentiality. It’s the balance between light and matter. A large oval brass ring (120 × 60 cm) draws a large suspended orbit in space, while small transparent luminous lenses decorate its shape, following its path. With its simple geometry, stripped of any formal digression, Compendium Circle does away with anything superfluous to make light the centrepiece. The Petites Lentilles pendant celebrates light in its purest form, proving that the simplicity of certain structural elements can produce a surprising object. This pendant provides two different types of light. The LED light sources contained in the 22 lenses provide functional lighting that provides general illumination for a room. The LED strip above the upper white metal disc provides upward-directed ambient lighting. The two light sources (lenses / upper disc) can be controlled separately using the remote control supplied, which lets you vary the light intensity.
