Like a cloud… The Tense cordless lamp is composed of a large, spherical lampshade made with Tyvek, in an almost vertical position on a tapered aluminium base. Tyvek is a translucent and fibrous synthetic material which looks like it has a paper-touch finish, yet its performances go far beyond those of paper. Not only lightweight but also extremely resistant and durable (non-tear, water-, abrasion- and age-resistant). With its fluid and organic shape, Tense evokes a lightweight, delicate and aerial composition. This large lighting volume effuses poetic fragility. The light is sculpted in the fibrous material and seems to almost breathe, offering another kind of luminosity, definitively subtle. The Tense cordless lamp enhances any space with its singular presence, whether it’s switched on or off. This portable cordless lamp can go wherever you need a little bit extra light. It’s perfect on a shelf, side table, sideboard, chest of drawers or even a bedside table. The colour temperature and brightness can be adjusted to create the ambiance you want (touch-sensitive dimmer with 3 positions located above the base). br />The lamp recharges via a magnetic charging cable, which is invisibly attached underneath the base of the lamp, meaning that the lamp can be used whilst it’s charging. The charging time is 6/7 hours. The Brolly lamp has 10/11 hours of battery life.
