The Alabast lamp takes on the archetypal outline of a flask, while stripping it back. Robust although delicate and sophisticated, the Alabast wireless lamp showcases wonderful work on the material. It is made of a single piece of alabaster: the stone is delicately worked with finesse in order to obtain a spherical form that is very thin. When the light is switched on, the lampshade becomes slightly translucent and lights up, highlighting the delicate veins. This material effect creates a wonderful contrast of light and shade. Alabast translates the vibratory richness of alabaster, a stone with multiple light and pattern variations. The alabaster gives off a delicate and vivid light, inviting contemplation.
