The Pao cordless lamp was designed by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, one of the biggest names in contemporary design who is working with Hay for the first time. To design Pao, Naoto Fukasawa was inspired by Mongolian yurts which cast a spellbinding light at night when illuminated from within. This cordless version is made entirely from polycarbonate. The high-shine finish reflects the light. Inside the lampshade, an opalescent polycarbonate diffuser completely conceals the integrated LED light source, creating the perfect aesthetic. The Pao table lamp provides optimal lighting: uniform and non-dazzling. This cordless lamp is portable and weather-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use.
