Jardim Botânico da Universidade de Coimbra – Combra

• The Jardim do Palácio de Queluz, or Gardens of the Queluz Palace, is a beautiful and historic garden located in Queluz, a municipality just outside Lisbon, Portugal. The Queluz Palace itself is a notable 18th-century palace that served as a residence for Portuguese royalty.
• The gardens of the Queluz Palace are known for their formal and decorative design, reflecting the characteristics of the Baroque and Rococo periods. Some key features of the gardens include ornate fountains, statues, geometrically shaped parterres, and charming pathways. The garden’s layout combines both French and Italian influences, creating a visually stunning and harmonious outdoor space.
• Visitors to the Jardim do Palácio de Queluz can explore the various terraces, walkways, and themed areas within the gardens. The overall design creates a sense of grandeur and elegance, complementing the palace itself. Additionally, the gardens provide a peaceful and enchanting environment for those who wish to take a leisurely stroll or simply enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
